Visa Ad Brims with Toys, Still Lacks Luster
In this ad by TBWA\Chiat\Day, LA for FAO Schwarz -- er, the Visa check card, we mean, a bunch of people wander around in a toy store while juggling toys.
The ad just doesn't hit the spot.
We never really got used to the "Life takes Visa" thing. It's like a second-rate "Priceless" -- which is ironic, because Mastercard's like a second-rate Visa.

SO ironic. Ridiculously ironic, Angela.
Nothing special, but the music from "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure" was nice to hear.
i like it. its the best one yet. have to disagree on the priceless comment, this concept is a little more bold than priceless. takes a risk, a little more visual.
Creatively it's a cool spot and yes it was fun to hear the Pee Wee music but my problems with this entire campaign lie with the fact that Visa is telling you that you're a loser who should be ashamed by paying for your goods with money that you ACTUALLY have. How fiscally responsible of you, you big fat loser! How dare you buck the trend that has recently sent our economy in a tailspin? Why don't you go balance your budget with the rest of your pathetic kind. This is why we should be outraged.

The product advertised is the Visa check-card. Not a credit card.
