Greenpeace Spoofs Budweiser's 'Wassup,' Poorly, Really Poorly
This is really, really, REALLY bad. We'll say it again, REALLY bad. If you're going to go and spoof the Budweiser Wassup commercial, the least you could do is put a little effort into it. Apparently, Greenpeace, who claims Anheuser-Busch uses genetically altered rice to make Budweiser, thinks shitty dialog and bad actors can somehow call attention to the horror that is genetically enhanced rice. At least use phones made this century?? This critique is, of course, irrelevant because Greenpeace is getting the publicity they want anyway.

"put a little effort into it..." Ouch! hurts-so-much...
I'll have your know, making that spoof was a grueling seven hour marathon shoot.
Thanks for the review anyway. My budding acting career has been brutally crushed, but as you say, at least the word is out about Bud and genetically engineered rice.
Off now to study for my new role as a tree in, "Beautiful rainforest, whither art thou now?".
lol Not only is this brutal but it doesnt even discuss the issue they have with bud. AND its like 5 years too late!
Worst I have seen in a long time...
good timing Steve! our buds at nytimes dot com have a cover story on genetically engineered rice today! I get genetically engineered rice and smile with hope that genetically engineered rice can be distributed to more poor countries asap!
The acting is good the filming is also good, but what is the point? Greenpeace having an issue with genetically engineered rice is just, well, weird! score 7 for AB...a good spot for BUD lovers, for sure and one for GP. Green Peace may have made this with AB funding...that is the only thing that makes sense...now if GP worked with the brands, instead of against they could build a huge buzz for Mother E.
Will their next awful commercial spoof be a badly drawn version of Fido Dido?
