Munchies, Brownies, Eyedrop Shelf Talkers Support Marijuana
With help from Spinach (the agency, not the food), pro-marijuana group NORML placed shelf talkers in grocery stores directly adjacent to the very products seemingly associated with feeding yourself weed. Very nice media placement, indeed. See the creative here.
UPDATE: Spinach contacted us and would like to clarify that it was a local chapter of NORML they worked with and not the national, parent organization. The work was pitched on a project basis to a local chapter which decided to go with the campaign. Beyond that, Spinach informs us that even though the local chapter approved the work and decided to use the signs, the agency is now seeking verification the local chapter actually used the signs.

What a great idea. If only all of the U.S. was able to legalize it.
These are funny, great media.
But the take away from these is, "Let's legalize it so we can get stoned and have the munchies." Not really a great stratagy and support for reforming marijuana laws. Unless, of course, the target is stoners.

Interesting idea, except that it may inadvertently contribute to a little paranoia among certain shoppers: stoned guy goes into supermarket on a munchie run. Heads for the snack aisle where he sees the NORML dangler. Starts freaking, because he's convinced EVERYONE in the store now knows he's sooooo high...
Hate to say it but most "stoners" either laugh a lot or fall asleep. I'm more worried about the crack and meth addicts.
Pretty sure most stoners don't either laugh a lot or fall asleep. That's just the stereotype. Maybe you should find out the truth before you say shit like that.
