Bob Garfield Explains Word of Mouth Marketing
To call attention to the upcoming Word of Mouth Marketing event June 20-21 at the Hilton San Fransisco, coBrandiT, independently and without association with the Word of Mouth Marketing Association, has mixed an old interview of Bob Garfield with some new comments he made about word of mouth marketing. The result is a humorous collection of babble. By the way, Bob was in on the joke just so you all don't think we're trashin' here.
UPDATE: The video has been removed. WOMMA was none too pleased. CoBrandit accommodated.
UPDATE II: See our ever so apologetic apology to Bob Garfield here,

We would like to make it absolutely clear that this video was not produced, created, or endorsed in any way by WOMMA. We find it deeply offensive and have asked the creator remove it.
Clearly, there's only so much you can control in either the "pure" or "blended" (marketer influences output) world of consumer generated media, but just to reinforce: this was NOT an official WOMMA video. I might also add that I don't think it's truly representative or reflective of CoBrandit's otherwise excellent work on so many other branding fronts.
Thanks guys. I apologize for originally wording the post so poorly making it possible for one to think WOMMA had something to do with this. I've reworded it and Owen has pulled the video anyway. Very sorry about that.
Steve
I think the mistake is thinking that anyone at any agency gives one tenth of a shit about what WOMMA thinks.
The joke is that nobody really knows what WOM even is. Get it?
Who the fuck do these self-appointed, self-righteous, dick gurgling, turd-burgling dipwads think they are, anyway?

Does anyone have a live link to this video? I can't believe it's *that* bad, but I'd like to decide for myself.
If CPB did this we'd all be salivating at their brilliance.
