John Deere Wants Shirtless Farmers For Campaign
Minneapolis-based John Deere agency Mackenzie is looking for farmers for an upcoming John Deer ad campaign. The agency wants "real farmers, with farmer tans, well-formed paunches, and tattoos." A newspaper article states male farmers will photographed shirtless and should be between 25 and 55. There was no mention of 35 to 55 year-old, shirtless female farmers.

What about farmers' daughters? I'm thinking age 17 to 24, with hair in pigtails, and a gingham shirt tied in a knot above the belly button?
You know, typical, "real" women.
Interesting article, to help with this maybe JD could use an advertising image of JD owners having painted yellow/green color schemes of their house, barn, and even cows since there's "nothing that runs like a deer".

I'm sure John Deere will treat the women just like the men, and not demand that the women be 5000 times better looking than the men in order to be 'equal'.
